She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Creighton University. A proud Iowa native, Dr. Jung relocated to Fort Collins in 2015, where she and her husband, Dave, are raising their two sons, Charles and Oliver, and have fully embraced the vibrant Northern Colorado lifestyle.
With advanced postdoctoral training from the prestigious Dawson Academy, Dr. Jung graduated from its comprehensive residency program as a Dawson Scholar—a distinction recognizing her clinical excellence and dedication to mastering the complexities of modern dentistry. This elite training has refined her ability to diagnose and treat even the most challenging dental conditions—including TMJ disorders, cosmetic and esthetic dentistry, and full-mouth rehabilitation—through a comprehensive, whole-health approach. Rooted in a functionally driven philosophy that values both oral health and natural beauty, Dr. Jung delivers results that not only look great but also support long-term wellness. Dr. Ballard was born in North Platte, Nebraska. At 11, her family moved to the Pacific Northwest, where she spent the rest of her childhood just outside of Seattle, Washington. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ.
Dr. Ballard prides herself on her personalized care for patients. She understands that every patient’s story, wants, and needs are unique. She makes it a priority to learn about her patients so they can get the best, individualized care.
Dr Ballard is excited to be back in the Midwest and close to a lot of her extended family again. Her free time is filled with fun outdoor activities with her husband Alex, daughter Hadley, and son Jackson.
